Many times, I found leftover files or hidden traces after I uninstalled applications with the tool provided by Control Panel or even a dedicated program uninstaller. One way to get rid of these documents is by using a cleanup tool, like WinASO Disk Cleaner.
This application can also be used to locate and remove junk files, Internet temporary files, cookies and clean the Windows history folder. WinASO Disk Cleaner allowed me to choose which file types to include and exclude from my search, which was an easy way to increase the efficiency of any performed scan.
One of the problems I encountered before scanning was that the program was unable to recognize all my drives (it displayed only two of them). More to that, WinASO Disk Cleaner even crashed several times. Also, when I think about disk cleaners, I imagine having access to utilities that also help me find and remove duplicate files, uninstall programs and complete other similar tasks that could improve the performance of my PC. Unfortunately, this program didn't offer me these tools.
For what it's worth, WinASO Disk Cleaner didn't impress me much. It managed to delete all the junk files, so it does its job, but I was hoping for something more, since you have to pay for it.
